Terms of Service

These terms outline how we work together. Booking a service with M&M Cleanse means you've read and agreed to them. They're written in plain English on purpose — if anything is unclear, just ask.
Services
We provide residential and commercial cleaning services across Northeast Pennsylvania, including general cleans, deep cleans, move in/out cleaning, post-construction cleaning, Airbnb turnovers, and recurring maintenance. Specific services performed during a visit are based on the scope agreed during booking.
Estimates and Pricing
- All estimates are free and non-binding until a service is scheduled.
- Final pricing depends on the actual size, condition, and scope of the space — extreme conditions discovered on arrival may require an updated quote, which we'll discuss with you before continuing work.
- Recurring service rates are honored for the agreed cadence; missing more than two scheduled visits in a row may reset rates to one-time pricing.
Scheduling, Cancellations, and Rescheduling
- We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Same-day cancellations may be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the booked service.
- If we have to cancel due to weather, illness, or other circumstances beyond our control, we'll reschedule at no charge as soon as possible.
- If we arrive at a scheduled job and cannot access the property (no key, locked out, no answer), the visit may be billed as a missed appointment.
Payment
- Payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed in writing (commercial accounts, recurring billing, etc.).
- We accept cash, check, debit/credit cards, and major mobile payment platforms.
- Returned checks may incur a $35 fee plus any bank charges.
- Recurring service may be paid by automatic billing — you'll receive a receipt for every charge.
Satisfaction Guarantee
If something isn't right, contact us within 24 hours of your service and we'll come back to address it at no charge. Please give us the chance to make it right before posting public reviews — we want every customer to feel taken care of.
Access, Keys, and Codes
- If you provide a key, alarm code, or lockbox combination, we treat that information as strictly confidential and use it only to access your property for scheduled service.
- Lost or compromised keys are replaced or rekeyed at our cost — please notify us immediately if anything seems off.
Damage and Liability
- We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation as required.
- If we damage something during a service, notify us within 48 hours so we can investigate. Confirmed damage caused by us will be repaired or replaced at fair market value.
- We are not responsible for items that were already broken, items that fail due to age or normal wear during cleaning, or pre-existing conditions (loose tiles, fragile fixtures, etc.).
- Please secure or remove items of high sentimental or monetary value before service. We are not liable for loss of cash, jewelry, or irreplaceable items left in cleaning areas.
What We Don't Do
To protect your home and our team, there are a few things we don't do as part of standard cleaning:
- Climb above two-step ladders.
- Move heavy furniture (we'll clean around it).
- Clean up biohazardous materials (blood, bodily fluids, etc.) without prior arrangement.
- Lift items over 30 lbs.
- Clean exterior windows on multi-story buildings.
We're happy to discuss specialty needs at booking — many things on this list are available as add-ons with the right preparation.
Pets
We love pets. Please let us know about any pets in the home so we can plan accordingly. For everyone's safety, aggressive animals should be secured during service.
Termination
You can cancel a recurring service at any time with 7 days' notice. We may end service if a customer behaves abusively toward our team, refuses payment, or makes the workplace unsafe.
Changes to These Terms
If we update these terms, we'll post the changes here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after the update constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Luzerne County, PA.
